A holding company for African-market ventures

We build the operating systems African commerce still runs without.

Capriova Holdings is a UK-registered parent company founded by Babatunde Abioye. We own and operate Vondu, a commerce platform for African retailers, and Keyda, a property lifecycle platform for Nigeria and its diaspora — and we're incubating PipReaper, an early-stage trading tool, alongside them.

Currently raising: Keyda Pre-Seed, $1.5M — see the investment plan.

Why we exist

African commerce runs on trust it can't verify.

In Nigeria's rental market alone, an estimated ₦850 billion is lost every year to double-renting, undisclosed fees, and disputes with no clear recourse. Independent retailers keep their stock, sales, and staff records split across five or six disconnected tools, with no single source of truth. Diaspora families sending money home for construction have almost no way to confirm the work was actually done.

Each of Capriova's initiatives is a bet on the same idea: whoever builds the verified, structured layer underneath these markets — not just another app on top of them — captures value that lasts.

What we're building now

Three initiatives, one thesis.

Vondu

One inventory, every way you sell. Vondu replaces five disconnected retail tools — storefront, till, stock count, messaging, books — with one flat-rate plan built for African multi-outlet retail.

Keyda

Africa's unified property lifecycle platform — build, buy, rent, manage, and invest in property through one trusted layer, with verification built in from the first listing.

Leadership

Built by an operator, not a strategist watching from outside.

Founder Babatunde Abioye built Keyda's platform single-handedly and spent five years delivering technology training to organisations including DEWA, TAQA, and KPMG across the Gulf before returning to build in Nigeria full-time. Capriova exists because he kept running into the same gap: good ideas that failed for lack of support and access to real market incubation — not for lack of merit.
